hi,

i've been approached by a group who want to set up a new indymedia site for
their country (it's in asia). however, they don't really have any techs involved
other than a designer, and want something that can be easily managed, preferably
using php and mysql. so i suggested drupal. i also said i might be able to help
with hosting this site.

however, i do not really have the time right now to learn and set up drupal all
over again - it's been a little while since i've done it - and nor do i know
what stage drupal customisation for indy is at: i.e. what blocks or modules are
required, how to do the actual set up, etc etc.

so, two requests, really ;-)

1. is there some documentation available about what precisely needs to be done
to set up a drupal site for indy?

2. is anyone able to help out with the sysadmin of this?

presumably, once drupal is installed, a number of sites could then be run from
the same installation, hence there would be a possibility of running your own
site from there as well. or, maybe you are able to offer hosting for this site?
