ekes -- I'll admit that I'm not yet well-versed in the node hooks, so I'm
not in a position to judge whether what you're suggesting is a more
direct route or not. Let me try to absorb a little more about how
drupal renders pages, and when the render hooks come into play.
Thanks very much for your suggestion.
My philosophy on viewing hidden files is that it's really an honesty
check on the editors of an Indymedia site; you can look to see the
sort of stuff that's hidden, and see whether it's pointless trollage,
or whether it's political bias/censorship.
That's why displaying hidden posts outside their context doesn't
bother me as much as having them in context (and thereby
extending troll wars) does.
