Hi all,

We are about to setup events for sydney indy. I have a few question 
which perhaps some of you can give feedback on.

- Which modules?

Should we use the tried and true events module or use a combination of 
CCK + Date API + Calendar View module?

Is there any advantage to using calendar?


- Has anyone used the JSTools module to enable a the popup calendar for 
date fields? Any bugs? Browser compatibility?

- Fields

I'll list the fields I intend on using for events. It's probably not 
necessary that every indy has the same ones, but perhaps it is?

Start Date/Time (date) Compulsory
End Date/Time date) Compulsory
Event Name (single line text) Compulsory
Contact Name (single line text) Compulsory
Contact Phone (single line text)
Contact Email (single line text)
Description (textarea)
Location (textarea) Compulsory

- Syndication

Is there any possible way to syndicate events from other sites directly 
into event nodes? Ical feeds?
