Hi Rob,

After reading your post,

I recommend you three modules:
* adminrole: to automatically asign all access to a given role
* checkall: to add a checkall box to select elements of forms
* I prefer taxonomy_batch_operations rather than taxonomy_manager. It
integrates better in the interface, and is able of cut&paste operations.

Can you please add your modules to 
https://docs.indymedia.org/view/Devel/ImcDrupalDevModules in order to 
have a common reference doc ?

I've recently added the "comments" section, with useful modules for 
moderation and comments managment.
