[Imc-drupal-dev] request for an indymedia transcoding server

hi!

we are building the new imc hungary website in drupal. of course we
would like to have advanced video capabilities. we would need a
transcoding server which accepts video files in any format and returns
them in flv or ogg. this would be good because the web server would be
separated from the transcoding server (as transcoding requires a lot
of resources).

such a transcoding server could serve several activists sites at once,
including the new video.indymedia.org site and perhaps video.squat.net
if it is being rebuilt sometime.

can somebody set up such a server? or can we collaborate with someone
to set it up?

ps: also we have to find out how to do this in drupal, but there are
modules which implement this so it should be easy.
