[Imc-drupal-dev] Trying out modules

Hi Philly IMC Web & IMC Drupal Dev folks--

I am going to begin installing some of the modules listed here:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Devel/ImcDrupalDevModules
on our drupal development site.

So far I have installed Mobile Media Blog, as the mail to newswire
functionality is something we use frequently in Mir.

I am just getting into drupal now, I'm wondering how folks are
thinking we can whittle down the list of imc-like modules.  What have
people learned thus far about the best modules for an imc site?  Is
there a space

The collective in Philly is interested in building a imc-drupal
release, and there has been a lot of discussion on our web at phillyimc
listserv and seems to be a good deal of work done in the
imc-drupal-dev collective as well.

I have heard from Sasha, who else is involved in this process?  It
would be great to work together to accomplish task, establish best
practices, etc.  There are a handful of IMC's waiting for this
release, including the imc-alternatives project.  Anything we can do
to energize this effort would be great.
