I've started moving hidden.module to Drupal 6 ;) and am wondering about
a making it available to views for sites that do have it installed - I
still want to keep it independent so it will work for all sites.

Think this is one that everyone that wants a "multiple list type" front
page should play around with - rather than the standard 'features'
column with 'newswire' column. With panels and nodequeue it should be easy.

re: i18n there have been some issues with open translation
(disconnection from core locale system, default/chosen language fallback
and revision tracking). These should be fixed with so much moved into
core in Drupal 6 which makes me think we should focus efforts there.

I will defer to others, especially video folks about the 'best way' (TM)
for handling media. I'm happy to help if some folks give direction.
The immediate term fix for 'user expectation attach files' to 'works
with images are nodes' that I mentioned was
http://drupal.org/project/upload_image - it does have the issue of
duplicating originals.

Always up for irc meetings :)

Worth mentioning the NYObserver session (mentioned in the original mail,
but chopped from my quotes) is included in the videos here.
