[Imc-drupal-dev] drupalcon anyone?

Hi, yeah I'll be there.
I'm helping with video archiving (if anyone else wants to help with 
audio or video recording, let me know, could be as easy as plugging your 
laptop into the mixing board to record a session)

Btw, a random tangent: Reading about the DROP project (Drupal really 
open participation) had me thinking about building a similar tools into 
an indymedia site.. Probably some people have already thought of this or 
are using tools like Crabgrass, but I was thinking the "open 
participation" model of creating micro-tasks, allowing people to browse 
them and track progress, also having mentors to help new folks, could be 
a good way to recruit new indymedia volunteers. it could also be part of 
a full dispatch system where people request coverage and others sign up 
to help..

for a news site it would need some extra features beyond software task 
tracking, like tasks with a deadline/expiration date or attached to 
events.
