[Imc-drupal-dev] node display problem

hi!

i am trying to correct some bugs in our new drupal indy, but i cannot
find the solution.

there is a 'short description' field which is a regular text field
added to the 'article' content type.  in the 'display fields' part of
the content type configuration panel the 'full' property of this field
is 'default'.

but in the full view of an 'article' node the 'short summary' field is
not displayed.

(i tried to google it but only found a lot of discussion about summary
vs. teaser, which i believe does not apply to my problem since this is
not anything special -- at least as far as i can tell -- but a stupid
text field.)

if you have any ideas, please share :)
