[Imc-drupal-dev] [IMC-Tech] Knight Foundation Grant

Hi,
I still have the same concern about the "who".  The "Project title" and 
"Describe your project" are written very broadly and imply that the 
grant is for the global network, which I think we can say is not likely 
to sign off on a huge grant to pay developers any time soon.  Why not 
make clear that this is a grant application by the XY&Z local IMCs 
(Boston, etc)?

Also, I really detest the term "citizen journalism" or "citizen media".  
I'm sure it means well but it's a corporate/NGO/academic term (not sure 
which) that implies leaving out one of the biggest ongoing struggles, 
and groups that actually need tools to make media.  In many places it's 
increasingly impossible to actually become a citizen and non-citizens 
face SWAT raids, indefinite detention, etc.
