[Imc-drupal-dev] the grant proposal and IMC blocks...

Hi,
I think one problem that this proposal ran into is that over the years,
local IMCs have sent out their various statements about global funding
but this hasn't all been codified anywhere. for example point #3 at
http://archives.lists.indymedia.org/imc-finance/2003-February/001762.html
which my local IMC sent out years ago is relevant here. but how one
would easily find this message five years later I'm not sure.

I mainly do not understand why this keeps coming up with UC-IMC, fiscal
sponsor of both this proposal and the imc-finance donation fund, because
they have had criticism about almost the exact same scenarios in the
past.

hopefully thru all this at least some folks learned more about global
network structure and processes, much of which I guess is otherwise sort
of "lost" on the list archives..

I really hope this is just the start of lots of productive conversations
about coordinating & collaborating as volunteers to fix the "tech
troubles" etc. that local sites are having. thats actually the kind of
discussion i'd like to have on this list.
