[Imc-drupal-dev] Drupal IMC Hosting Followup

Hey since I have more time to write about this at the moment I wanted to
try to continue the dialogue.

I posted on the IMC-Tech listserve inquiring about hosting and whether or
not there was a list of hosts providing IMC hosting and who is hosting what
sites and what CMS they are on. I'll see if anyone has server space to host
a lot of new IMCs with Drupal, otherwise this should be our first priority,
finding a server to set-up new IMC sites. We actually have a physical
server at our physical IMC space that I could set-up as a sandbox of sorts
(it's just on a business cable modem) and I know MarkB had something set-up
that I think is now down.



So the next step beyond the hosting would be actual development.
I suggest we utilize Drupal 6.0. I would be happy to use this as a
motivating factor behind my own redesign/upgrade of our IMC site to Drupal
6.0 and set-up something. We just need to develop the
documentation/architecture etc and then code it into a install profile and
set it up for people. 

I'm willing to put some development time into this, especially if people
want to use it, but it will require more time than just my own and
coordinating global efforts can be time consuming, but I'm willing to try
to carve out some time towards this if others want to participate.
