[Imc-drupal-dev] Knight Foundation Grant for Drupal IMC

Hi,

I'm yan, volunteering with IMC Germany and IMC Venezuela. Apart from
Indymedia I have been working with Drupal for about a year and a half.
Both IMCs I'm working with are using MIR right now.

IMC Venzuela might plan to switch to Drupal in the next year to obtain
features that MIR doesn't offer.

IMC Germany is in a kind of crisis which might result in a process
similar to Italy, i.e. a regionalization - but that's not sure. Anyhow
there are voices that call for a new CMS.

In both cases using Drupal is not very concrete but might be an option.
I personally like Drupal a lot and I'm glad there are people caring
about adjusting it to IMC needs.

I don't really have much time to offer and my programming skills are
limited, but I'm gonna be following the discussions here to see where I
can help out.

The grant idea sounds great to me and I'd also like to support those who
called for a more general approach then thinking about a DadaIMC->Drupal
transition. I think the other CMSs should be included.

Best,
yan

Hola,

A mí

Saludos
yan
