Hi everyone,
As some of you may have spotted, unfortunately Fink got the date wrong
for our next screening - it is NEXT week on the 21st July, not tonight.
This is a real shame, as the next Fink will only come out on the day of
the screening (Wednesday). Could everyone spread the word that the
screening is next week - thanks.
I have done a poster design, printed off 120 A3 copies and put some up
in the usual cafes, etc. I have dropped the rest of the posters off at
None, and these will be put in Black Star Books tomorrow. We
desperately need someone who can do a poster run (sticking up around
town) in the next few days - preferably before the weekend.
Unfortunately I am too busy, Clare, Finn and Greg are all in
Australia, Toby is too busy and Rosy I believe you are working on the
Regent show at present. Anna, are you able to do this? If so, that
would be fantastic. If there is anyone else who can volunteer, please
please help!! : )
I will print off a whole lot of A5 flyers tomorrow, and distribute
these in the places where Fink sits, with a message saying that the
film is NEXT week. Hopefully this will help publicise things.
So, if someone could please please stick up the posters then we should
be right.
Thanks in advance,
Peter
PS Anna, have you made any progress with the print issue. Call me on
455 6467 if you want.

next Dunedin Indymedia screening = "Unprecedented : The 2000
Presidential Election"
Date - Wednesday 21st July, 6.30pm
Venue - Arc Cafe, High St
koha admission
Unprecedented : The 2000 Presidential Election is the riveting story
about the battle for the presidency in Florida and the undermining of
democracy in America. Filmmakers Richard Ray Perez and Joan Sekler
examine modern America’s most controversial political contest : the
election of George W. Bush.
What emerges is a disturbing picture of an election marred by
suspicious irregularities, electoral injustices, and sinister voter
purges in a state governed by the winning candidate’s brother. George
W. Bush stole the presidency of the United States … and got away with
it.
