I just saw an ad up 'round uni today for equipment hire, it was $90 per 
night for a projector. stink.

It might be worth checking out the Higher Trust regarding their 
projector, if i understand correctly arc has one and the higher trust 
has another one altogether. Long term I'm keeping an eye out for one for 
waitati film society to use, as our only hope for _new_ films we can 
screen is via DVD (no-one makes 16mm prints anymore...). we would 
probably need it less often than indymedia, but can add into a critical 
mass of media/ art appreciation groups that need access to a proj.r.
