[Imc-europe] Invitation to August 1, 2010 Prep Meeting for the DAKAR2011 Convergence Centre.

In last week’s meeting; we started discussing the “Who” part of the  
“Detroit Outline for Dakar2011 Convergence Center." We had consensus on:

- The need for a local team in Dakar involved in the project; I  
(Sphinx) and Fabian committed to do someone intensive outreach to  
community organizers in Dakar i.e. to those who were involved in the  
Dakar2004 conference and others.



-We also agreed to Sunday; August 1, 2010, as the date for the next  
prep-meeting for the Dakar2011 Convergence center.

Meeting time will again be Sunday at 1:00PM EST: which is



5:00PM in Bamako and Dakar,

6:00PM in Lagos, Kinshasa and London;

7:00PM in Berlin, Paris and Cape Town; and

8:00PM in Nairobi.



Tentative Agenda

1:00PM-1:10PM;

  Self-introductions.



1:10-1:15PM; Agenda review.



1:15PM - 1:40PM

Update on mobilizing for the Convergence Center and brainstorming on  
changes needed on the current outline for the project.



1:40PM-1:50PM

  Brainstorming on timeline for project. This will include by when we  
need to receive the list of delegates; so that we can concentrate on  
the logistics.


1: 50PM – 1:55PM

Miscellaneous


1:55PM –2:00PM

  Drawing up an agenda for the next meeting; and deciding on the date  
of the next meeting.
