To help community groups get their message across more effectively the
Poverty Alliance has developed a short training programme which will be
delivered by a media consultant. The training will help groups better
understand how the media works, how to work with journalists and
editors, and how to get your story across. The training is for community
based organisations with low or no funding. There is no charge for the
training, travel and childcare costs will be covered. Places are limited
and participants are required to take part in two days of training.
