Cheers yossarian I think it reads nicelly. Actually is anyone keeping
track of who's registered so far? Tony, maybe you'd like to take that on
.. as well as sending this mail to them? ... i'm saying because keeping
track and contacts of people is one of your best specialities! :)
I'd also like to tell the IoA lot sometime soon(ish) how many people are
confirmed, and from those, how many would need accomodation so they can
start making plans and reserving a room.
Also I could translate this into spanish if it is really needed (although
I hope it is not! :) To translate it would only make sense if a few
spanish speaking people from outside the Uk had registered. Tell me if
this is the case and I'll have a go. But if it is only one or two people,
well, then I'm not sure it is worth the time.
Ah!, yes, maybe only one very small addition to the text: After the first
sentence I would probably add the link to the video ... this would
hopefully make the mail more exciting and fun to receive. So the thing
would read:
"Hello, you are receiving this email because you have registered for the
independent media convergence on 14-15 May 2005 in London. See video
invite here: http://video.indymedia.org/en/2005/04/51.shtml"
ok soon
