Subject: [g8radio] COMPUTER MONITORS FOR IMC 

COMPUTER MONITORS. Have got what I think is a very good deal with  Recycle 
ICT based in Dalkeith - they take old computers and rennovate them, sell 
them on cheaply, providing low income groups with working home computers.

They will provide all 40 monitors (mixed sizes) for 150 pounds. That's less 
than 4 pounds a monitor. We may also be able to get some of that back if we 
can sell some of the monitors on to other homes. As part of the deal I 
suggested that we could help promote their work in some way, perhaps by 
having some info in the centre about what they do. I also suggested that we 
could document in some way their involvement and make something for their 
website. I can take care of that bit, it wil be good publicity for indymedia 
too. 

I said I would have ot check with everyone before we went ahead, so please 
all let me know you're thoughts.
