lookin at the  indymedia picture archive  http://w3.buz.org:88/recent.php   
i see that the copyright caption on the pictures is "Copyright - Copyright 
the creator, no repr" to me it looks like an automatic tag added when the 
pics are uploaded,  is no repr short for no reprint? 

sorry in advance if i got this wrong
but this is in indymedia's name so why is there a mention of copyright and 
not creative commons
Surly indy is opposed to copyright practise so why is this caption there 

imho if people want to copyright their work they can set up their own site 
that is not associated with indymedia.
To me nobody should be getting web space advertising if they are promoting 
copyrighted material. 

again please correct me if ive jumped to conclusions I sinserly hope i have
