Hello

Well .. more on vehicles from London.

in my last mail I said that the people planing to come with a mini bus
had, all of a sudden, changed their minds and now are going up to
Scotland with the double deck bus instead. They still have to pay for
the ride, but apparently Peace not War crew are paying half of the
costs.

Anyhow, the reason why I saying this here is because it now seems the
bus will be for some length of time stationed at the Sterling's
campsite/rural convergence centre. The way it seems now is that they
want it there to be "a focal point for the Creative Forum and for Peace
Not War". I think they'll have projections, a cafe, little PA, etc...
on it.

I've mailed them just now asking if the bus would still be available
for some Indymedia work too (as we initially discussed at the Media
Convergence of May) The idea was to have it together with the indymedia
satellite truck and set up some sort of Indymedia access point at the
rural village. Is the satellite truck still going there?

If you talk about this in the imc's sunday meeting at the Forest, it
would probably be worth to think about any specific task for the double
deck bus (at the rural convergence or somewhere else) and then i would
propose it to the bus crew (that keep telling me are interested in
doing some imc work too)

I also asked whether there is any space in the bus to take any kit
still in London that may need carrying.

ok, looking forward to see everyone soon
maqui
