[Imc-g8-2005] re: mobile centre (solar + wind) quote

Hiya,

i'll ask some of the other contacts i have through big green gathering 
types if they're up for coming up to scotland with power provider vehicles 
- as the 2k seems to be getting very expensive and is for buying the kit as 
well as opposed to just paying expenses to those who already have it right?

there's also been enquiry from faslane types about mobile media facilities 
- some of them have possible use of van with 5 computers - but no power 
sorted - they reckon solar panel / 4 x £45 quid batteris and inverter (£50) 
- and connectivity an issue...

i think we need to look at this in a bit of a modular way as well - having 
one complete set up would be ace - but then other people will have other 
bits that could be added / come together either for a week or on different 
days - so we're gonna have to work out how to allow things to plug together 
(no techie pun intended :)

any news from satellite folks?
