hi di_zen :-)

did you make it to the airport ok?

yes! .. a caravan would be great! ... this is exactly the sort of
vehicle that would work best as mobile media units. they are normally
big enough to be used as (little) work spaces when need it (to edit and
write stuff, charge batteries, have a drink :-) etc... but also, at the
same time, small enough to be able to run around country lanes that
will definitely have police roadblocks.

as it stands right now, we definitely need more vehicles. the more the
better. people will have to travel about a fair bit up there, as well
as being able to move around once the public - or the more regular
transport - finishes (night time, very early mornings, or if it
eventually stops running altogether)

i don't think being an italian car would bring any specific problems
... after all it is not as if an italian number plate was the same as
one from afghanistan, is it :-)

whether it would be possible to move it around easily ... well that
depends on how the story develops i guess. in any case, i think it will
be possible to travel around some areas, and at least, having wheels is
better than relaying in some other means of transport. for me, the main
point is to have as many dedicated media mobile vehicles as possible,
so to carry teams around.

i don't think it would be seized unless something big happens, but
stopped at some point possibly. in any case i think it is quite real
that the van would make it to edimburgh. i mean, they can not stop all
traffic going up and down from scotland, can they?

well these are my five pence worth ... see what your friend thinks, but
it would definitely help.

also say to your friend muchas gracias compa for the offer. nice one!
