The G8 Justice and Home Affairs ministers are meeting in
Sheffield on the 15th to 17th June 2005, more info here:

A convergence centre is being organised and the plan is to
set up an Indymedia access point in this space. 

So far we have organised for a ADSL connection to be
installed in the space but there is a lot of things to
sort out, starting with a wired and wireless network and
workstations for people to use during the event -- does
anyone have any spare computers?

If anyone would like to help with any of this please get
in touch, if any Indymedia people want to come from
outside Sheffield they would be very welcome, also perhaps
Sheffield might be a good stop off point for people
travelling up to Scotland...
