Hiya,

Of course Sheffield shouldn't be the only one contributing to the costs
made at the G8, but to say that the G8 IMC coverage and media centres was
run by an 'elite' and the whole think heavily critisised, thats absolute
rubbish. People from London Imc, Bristol IMC, Notts Imc, Manchester IMC,
Scotland IMC, Cambridge IMC and others helped out, setting up, running and
clearing up the media spaces at the G8. besides that there were people
from IMC's around the world. Over 1000 people used the media centre in
Edinburgh in that one week, and over 1.75 million estimate hits on the UK
Indymedia website on the first day of the summit (July 6th). How can you
say it was all done by a little group?

Btw, Notts is also putting ona benefit gig for the G8 costs, probably
early November. So don't say Sheffield gets the burden, cause its not
true.
