Dear Friends,

Greetings from WSF India!

Many of you would be preparing for actions related to the Ministerial
meeting of the WTO in Hong Kong between 14-18 December. We
understand that several groups associated with the WSF process in
Asia will also be present in Hong Kong during the Ministerial.

We would like to propose a meeting of the WSF Asia process during this period, taking advantage of the presence of so many meetings. In the Colombo meeting of groups from Asia, we had set up the Interim Asia Council. This meeting could discuss the ways of taking forward the WSF process in India. Specifically this would also be
an opportunity to discuss about the WSF2006 event in Karachi in 
January 2006, and proposals for a WSF2006 event in SE Asia/East Asia in the second half of 2006. We could keep this as an open meeting and invite all groups present, who are interested
in the WSF process in Asia to attend.

We have been able to locate a place for the proposed meeting on the
16th (6 pm to 10 pm). If groups think this is a good idea, we could
proceed with planning for the meeting.
