Alright there folks,
 I am involved in the Cork Greenmap project down here in Cork: www.corkgreenmap.org. 
While working on getting our base map sorted our tech dept found a fairly easy way of getting a map of the whole of Ireland. We came up with the idea of an interactive map of the country, perhaps used in conjunction with or as part of Indymedia Ireland that would graphically display what was going on around the country, like you could click on Athy, say and up would come whatever was happening in that area along with contact details of local groups etc. We thought the visual aspect of it might help people join the dots as regards the emergence of social movements across the country. Anyway where we're at now is that we have a template for this but haven't gotten round to doing anything with it yet, we might take it on as one of our projects in the new year.
