Dear IMC Jakarta, My son and I are trying to get any information anyone
may have on his mother and her partner who were in Indonesia during the
tsunami. Her name is Akiyo Kawabata, 55 years old, Japanese, around 150 cm
tall,traveling on a Japanese passport. His name is Ruel Bernard, around
170 cm tall, 49 years old, traveling on an American passport. He started
Building Community, a group to help poor and squatter communities build
their own houses. We haven't heard from them at all, and they never told
us any specific travel plans. If anyone there could help by posting this
or if anyone in the resistence community saw them at any time we would
