[imc-korea] About the spam problem

would it be a solution to disable the open publishing but have a permanent notice on the front page that gives (human) readers an id and password (maybe with less priviledge than full administrator though) allowing them to publish?  
I think it would work well enough because I believe almost all the spam is automatically created by a hostile computer program, not someone who actually took the time to visit IMC site. 
 
I am not using much IMC regularly but it is very useful on some special occasions (like the G20 meeting in Seoul last fall) and I would like it to keep functionning for some sort of open publishing purpose.
