[imc-liverpool] Liverpool meeting?

The main IMC UK mailing list featured the following message today. What do
people think about a meeting in the basement? I know we haven't been very
organised in the past, but this national coverage gives us a good
incentive to sort things out for 2007.

Hiya,

With quite a few local IMC's running at the moment, some if not all
could definitely do with some more people to get involved. Therefor I
would like to propose to local IMC's to all hold public meetings
simultaneously, possibly early/mid Feb to get new people involved. A
feature on the UK startpage could urge people to get involved in their
IMC nearby. This call out could strengthen our collectives locally and
thus nationwide. Organising a meeting doesn't take much effort and even
if we get a few new people involved it would have been worth it.

What do people reckon?
Are collectives up for organising a public meeting?
