Rockfort @ St Giles

In a bid to help with the fundraising effort, Rockfort has brought
together a group
of artists who represent the best of what France’s wonderfully
eclectic music scene has to offer. The line-up is:

Barbara Carlotti (www.barbaracarlotti.com) is signed to the French
division of the legendary 4AD records and her first full album, Les
Lys Brisees, is a thing of baroque splendour and sombre beauty.

Nicolas Police http://www.nicolaspolice.fr aka hybrid

Music-maker Olaf Hund presents his new project, which sees him
taking a conceptual swipe at the man who would be France’s next
president, Nicolas Sarkozy.

Olivier Mellano www.olivier-mellano.com is one of France’s most
respected guitarists and will be performing uniquely in collaboration
with 60s Ye-Ye icon, actress and poet Gillian Hills

London-based Green Drummers www.myspace.com/greendrummers
whose self-made stage costumes are an event in themselves, brings her
surrealistic,
keyboard-based mischief to the bill.

Parisian chanteuse Mademoiselle www.myspace.com/mademoisellecha was a
hit at Rockfort’s last Social night, and her wistful chansons
make a welcome return in this new setting.

Plus: Rockfort DJs (David & Ludo) + Special Guests
