February 16 - DECIBEL BREACH

 DECIBEL BREACH presents a series of benefit parties for Resonance FM
and every two months after, on 3rd Friday of the month. The
brutalizers on the night are:

 February 18 - Spitz One
First in a series of a three day fundraising marathon for the
inimitable Resonance FM. Avant-pop types The Chap (fresh from
remixing Beck and Block Party) headline with support from legendary
land-locked surf instrumental trio Kenny Process Team and superlative
math-rock combo Limn. Zoe Baxter (Lucky Cat) and Johnny Trunk, Trunk
Records impresario, are the evening's DJs. All proceeds go to keeping
Resonance 104.4FM on air. 7pm, £10. The Spitz, 109 Commercial Street,

 February 19 - Spitz Two
Second in a trio of fundraisers for the hard-up yet totally unique
and essential Resonance FM. Tonight's show looks with both eyes at
troubadors, bluegrass and filthy garage. Special guests Syd Griffin &
The Coal Porters, Filthy garage punks The Fabulous Penetrators,
Independent on Sunday cartoonist, writer and singer-songwriter Peter
Blegvad and rounding things off is All Tomorrow's Parties signing
Alexander Tucker; a somewhat odd amalgam of David Crosby, doom metal
and Terry Riley. DJ sets from Joe Cushley and Martin 'Bonanza' Myers.

 February 20 - Spitz Three
Multi-media arts and music gang the Glass Shrimp host this third and
final fundraising extravaganza on behalf of Resonance 104.4 FM. On
the bill Leafhound, The Rebel, Le Tetsuo and Thomas Truax. Few rock
albums have achieved greater cult status than Leaf Hounds 'Growers of
Mushroom' (1971 Decca, 1971 Telefunken).The album has gradually
acquired a mythical status. Following intense public demand, Pete
French put a new version of his legendary band Leaf Hound together in
the Spring of 2004 - psychedelic heavy rock and kosmic blues freakery.
The Rebel are fronted by the Country Teasers mainman Ben Wallers and
is an experimental noise project located in the sleat grey zone that
lies somwhere between The Fall and Throbbing Gristle. Le Tetsuo are a
three piece art-rock combo from Norwich they also have their feet in
two seemingly opposite camps - Shellac and Frank Zappa. 7pm, £10. The

 February 24 - Flomotion
A futuristic blend of uptempo, twisted electronica, minimal techno,
electro and dub house. Featuring DJs Nick Luscombe (Flomotion),
Pathic (Pyramid Transmissions). ADJ (Touchin Bass/Pyramid
Transmissions), Fari Bradley (Resonance FM), SpaxWax (Resonance FM).
