i think it would make a great feature in uk middle column, but imho it 
would need a bit of background research, some more links and some images 
if there are any out there.

As far as why london is ticked, I don't know. People seems to tick london 
quite often without an apparent reason. Maybe it is because london-imc 
never made it clear what the "editorial policy" may be, or maybe it is 
because people think that by ticking london will get more readers,  but 
I'm not really sure if this should go into London-imc middle column. 

On the other hand, the text says that the travellers site is near 
London's M25 motorway. Dunno, whatever peeps feel, I wouldn't be against 
publishing in london either, is not that london-imc is overwhelmed with 
new features :)
