hello again,
well i thought we had already decided on this. in the last meeting
everyone present agreed that london-imc should donate, at least, £240 for
the new server.
i mean, if kollectives in the uk network that have only 2 or 3 active
people (leeds/bradford for example) have already announced that they'll
chip in with their £240 share, it'd be outrageous that london-imc didn't.
the fact that it was decided in the meeting, even if it was only attended
by 6 or 7 people, i think should be enough bounding enough. the appeal
and discussions about this server issue has been going on for a few weeks
in several indy-uk lists (mainly process), so for me a london-imc meeting
should have decisory capacity for issues like this one.
that's not to say that meetings should not get reported back to this list
of course, but a few peeps are too busy all the time, and as andi
mentions in another mail, they seem to be always the same ones.
sooo maybe this could be a quick feedback from last meeting: yes the last
indymedia london meeting decided that london-imc will contribute £240 (at
least) towards the new imc-united kollektives server :-)
anyway, we could actually raise this ammount easly with the stall in the
anarchist bookfair if we get sorted enough.
cheers
maqui
