Dunno. There were only 2 tables left on Wednesday when we discussed it so if
definitely no one else has paid then I could pay on my card. LET ME KNOW.
They won't accept just a booking, they understandably want the money up
front.

CDs are easy if a little tedious to dupe @ home beforehand. I tried &
utterly failed to dupe any quantity of them during the ESF itself cos of way
too many distractions from the punters & my inability to multitask & also
laptop seriously playing up. We need a good selection rather than masses of
a very few titles.

If we have source DVDs and the material is copyleft then I/we can just
duplicate 1 @ a time during the winter evenings. So who has what on DVD &
how do we get hold of it? Just like CDs, home burned DVDs aren't quite as
reliable or robust as factory stamped ones but there's no thousand quid +
set up charge. If they're handled correctly - no scratches, jammy fingers
etc - then there should be few probs. Forget about transferring VHS to DVD.
That'd be like transforming gold into base metal... or something like that.
The punters would quite rightly complain about the crap quality. It's poss
to create a DVD from DV but I don't have experience of it & although I'd
like to learn, not sure I'd have the time b4 the day.

I'll try & catalog what's on what & get it to you but I now have 2 fewer
free eves/week so if anyone else fancies helping out with the really easy
but time consuming job of shoving each of our master Euro news
reels/ruffcuts CDs in a PC & typing up a brief summary of the diff videos on
them, that'd be great. Meanwhile if Tony can prepare a template for a
contents insert to suit the considerable quantity of paper CD wallets that
we have. The insert needs to be about 123mm sq with a circular window 103mm
dia. The one you did prev had text that was outside the circular window.
