Yes I saw an email about the reporting, and asking for helpers to log onto the
chat channel. I was a little unsure at first, as I was at work and didn't want
to get caught up in something completely different that distracted me from my
job.
However, my job had actually got in the way of me being at the Critical Mass
ride, so I thought I'd just try it just for a bit, and ended up enjoying it
thourely.
I did a little, as much as I could, and managed to get my paid work
done! There
was a great buzz, and definately the next best thing to actually being there.
That being my first time in dispatch though, I was under the impression it was
always like that! ,-)
