Sounds v.good to me too, but also like a massive project that would
need restructring if imcs around the wolrd, either to user a single
common database (probably not good). or to all supply all news lists in
a common format with lots of metadata (an indymedia wire xml dtd would
probably be order for that). 

Like the rss feeds we have now, but with extra data included to
identify the subject(s), region, author etc. Actually, I see that the
current rss feed has all that data in it already (although it might be
good to collect keywords from contributors).

We'd also need a good interface to search it, ideally across one or
multiple IMCs. I'd be interested in trying to set that up, but I don't
have a lot of experience and I don't know how much time I'll have. I
haven't checked how many others use the same rss format.

Could we have an rss feed for all non-hiden posts on uk imc?
