[Imc-london] [Escapegoat] front page wires now have variable lengths

Hiya

northern and notts use custom wires that include all content. Is it possible to go a step further with this and also include a tickbox list of content types which would also be included in the promoted wire? This way we can both get another step closer to the master branch :-) my birthdays not til december though so no rush

Hi,

Cactus asked for the length of the right-hand promoted events wire on
the London site to be lengthened recently as it offends his design
sense.  I figured that just changing it would be a little primitivist
(and actually hard to do as all Hyperactive sites use the same event
retrieval code for the front page).  So instead, I've made configurable
admin settings for the lengths of the articles and events wires on the
front page.  Site admins can now go into the settings page and edit the
wire lengths to whatever suits them.
