Interesting. I'm not sure if this would be needed generally, usually on
profiles etc, you don't really get the option to attach files. I see how
it would be useful for you, but I think you can actually work around
that. For example, you could publish your accessibility information as
an article, and link that from you group blurb, and it would show in
your wire as well. Or, if you want to link a pdf or something, if you
have it uploaded anywhere at all, rightclick and say 'open in new tab'
go to the tab and check out that link. It should look something like:
https://london.indymedia.org/system/file_upload/2010/11/23/114/accessibility.pdf
If you go to your group page, you can create a link saying something
like 'download our accessibility policy' and as url put in that link
starting with /system (in this case it would be:
/system/file_upload/2010/11/23/114/accessibility.pdf)
I know this sounds a bit complicated, but you probably only want to do
it once.
We'll keep the file uploads for group profiles in mind, though there are
work arounds and I'm not sure if it's a very widely needed feature.

Well, I don't exactly know what kind of posts you would want to put up.
But if something is published as part of a group, we tend to only hide
it if it really breaches editorial guidelines. I would assume you
weren't going to put up any discriminatory stuff or anything ;)
Only posts that are promoted show on the frontpage, so what probably
would happen to those posts that aren't exactly news, is that they
wouldn't get promoted. This means that they don't show on
london.indymedia.org, but would show up at london.indymedia.org/articles
and also on your group page.
Hope this helps, we're always really happy to get feedback! Also if you
have questions about functionality, or editorial policy, feel free to
get in touch. If you have something in mind you may want to use the site
for, that you aren't sure how or if it would fit, let us know and we'll
probably find some way to make it happen.
Cheers,
Mara
