Can superusers or collectives sponsor individuals?
I also think it's important that superusers try and engage in the
politics of potential administrators. For instance, you could
unintentionally give someone admin, who was a zionist but you hadn't
discussed this area of politics, or perhaps they had some reactionary
religious views.
I'm sure we've all got stories to relay about this kinda thing ;)
