[Imc-mayday-collective] PROPOSAL: Deadline Sunday 15th May 5.00pm GMT - UK DNS handover

Note that Bart wrote the following re this proposal:

"please contact the Mayday collective and demand immediate stewardship of
the domain.

Currently, both indymedia.org.uk and uk.indymedia.org are pointing to
maydaymedia.org which contradicts the Bradford agreement [4]. Please make
sure  that both domains point to the splash page on traven, currently
accessible at  archive.indymedia.org.uk."

Whilst I find it amusing that Bart thinks the word 'demand' is
appropriate, clearly complying would put the newswire under threat again.

So, if we were willing to do that we'd have let BeTheMedia act without
active consensus on May 1st.

It would be great if the global network sought a return to active
consensus, but if they instead going to issue one sided demands then I'd
question their real commitment to POU 6.
