Melbourne Indymedia is looking to shift to a new content management 
system and we are looking for techies to assist us in this process. We 
feel that the current software is too crude and hasn't managed to 
sufficiently deal with the problems of trolling or empower genuine 
users enough. We are looking for geeks who know php and are interested 
in an intensive 1-3 month project of building a new site and shifting 
across the old one. We are also looking for geeks that are interested 
in ongoing maintenance and development of the site.
At present we are considering drupal <http://drupal.org> as a basis for 
the new site so knowledge in this is an advantage, though we are also 
interested in suggestions of other content management systems.
As an all volunteer organisation we can only offer you the pleasure of 
our company and heartiness of participating in a project for positive 
social change.
