[Boston IMC]

What's up one-year-old friend? 

  Boston IMC has grown considerably in the past year
and I'm psyched up to get our new volunteers hooked
into the larger network.  

Can I get an update on what happened after you sent a
post out to the contact list you have?  (and can I get
that list???)

As far as Steve's comments, it would be great if we
could avoid all other media events but if we can't, we
can't.  It will undoubtedly be difficult to miss them
all.  I can say with conviction that extremely few of
our collective would be able to afford a trip to
Kansas City, Chicago, or even Baltimore, and even if
by some economic miracle a couple could go, a huge
number of us will still want to go to WMass.  So I
wouldn't let conflict get in the way unless there is
something specifically indymedia or something close in
New England.  We see the WMass event as very important
for us as we continue to grow because we want to make
stronger connections to other smaller New England
sites.  

I can bring in a few volunteers to help you even with
these first few steps of communicating with everyone. 
We've grown quite a bit since last year and I wouldn't
be surprised if we had 10 or 15 folks wanting to come.
