Wanted to let you know we're having a 10th anniversary
Indymedia event here at The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy NY
(aka Albany, 2.5 hours from NYC and Boston).  We are inviting Indymedia folks from around the northeast for a film festival, gathering, potluck dinner, and live
music. 



Below is a description of the event and a website we're putting
together for it. Folks from here in Troy and Rochester have already
agreed to
come and others are invited.

Indymedia 10th Year Anniversary Film Festival
Where Do We Go from Here?

Ten years after the Battle of Seattle and the explosion of global grassroots citizen journalism
known as Indymedia, the legacy reverberates around the world. Join us
for a retrospective screening of seminal indymedia films, including, This is What Democracy Looks Like, Miami
 Model,
DNC/RNC protest coverage, A Tribute to Brad Will and plenty of others.
The film festival will go all day and include a potluck dinner and
psychedelic Sufi trance rock from Iranian-American singer/songwriter
