Take Action to Ensure the Sanctity of the Vote

    On Wednesday, July 20th, the Arcata City Council will again take up the passing of  the Voter Confidence Resolution (link to Word Document) during their regularly scheduled meeting at 7:00 p.m. at Arcata City Hall.  At the last meeting, with about 10 of us waiting to speak, the meeting was ended at a self-imposed midnight curfew.   As it was last time, it's late on the list, so there's no need to arrive right at 7:00 p.m.  Of course, it's hard to say how quickly the other agenda items will move.  We're hoping this meeting won't be a repeat of last time, but we'd like to see even more of you come and show the support we saw two weeks ago.
