Well, my opinion is made and I don't intend to attend your meetings. Whether that means my opinion has no place in the decision making process, I leave up to those who are members of the 'face-to-face decision making group' who in no way what so ever, constitute a division nor a organisational tier, nor a hierarchy.

This aint to create conflict but rather to point out an irony that I take humor from.

Hi

As far as I'm aware, we as a group and me personally have nothing
against communists, socialists or the like but the guidelines are there
to stop political parties such as this using Indymedia as a campaigning
tool. If there was an "Anarchist party" that were actively engaged in
party politics and used the site to promote that cause, they would be
hidden in the same way for the same reason. The posts that have been
hidden have crossed that line, the ones that did not are still up.

If people are concerned about the guidelines then they really need to
come to the next meeting as they aren't to my knowledge something that
can be changed via email since we made a commitment to a project based
on face to face interaction. Do people think we are being less open and
fair than say the BBC or Guardian? Why can't people make positive
suggestions and comments rather than trying to create conflict. It isn't
very healthy when this is something that people are welcome to shape and
get involved in to make it how they want it to be. That has always been
the case so come along if you are unhappy, and that will benefit everyone.

Solidarity

The guidelines are clearly too restrictive, biased and contradictory in application atm, due to the misunderstanding of these terms. This is of course my opinion....
