Hey all

should we start on getting a feature ready for mayday soon? I was thinking we could include a load of links to things like the history and meaning of mayday, particularly in reference to the north where it,s long been one of the most important days of the year.

We could do some reference pieces to link in around folk traditions like how to do a maypole or how to do morris dancing as well as links to pictures and stories of past maydays?

It'd be really nice to work on a positive celebratory feature for a change from all the angry protest features we do.

Is anyone in leeds, newcastle, hull etc up for linking in events that are happening there?
