[imc-northern] site redesign/next meeting

Hey all

One of the action points I came out of todays meeting with (on the journey
back) was to send a link to the redesign currently being worked on by IMC
London for Hyperactive. The latest version is here:

Anyone have any thoughts on this? we could potentially adopt this design
or something similar in the future if it is officially launched.

Also, the next meeting will be at the 1in12 club, Bradford on Sunday 8th
May from 12pm (to avoid clashing with mayday we can't meet on the first
sunday again). It'll be a skillshare focused meeting again with as little
actual working as possible. We can work out the agenda in the current
month, but it would be good to have a major push to get new people along
and boost our presence in the area.

Todays meeting in Liverpool was great (despite the vast number of
apologies sent due to last minuteness), massive thanks to the NTN peeps
for letting us use the space and providing food. Minutes will follow soon,
there was some really exciting ideas that emerged and we discussed on the
way back about the direction we as Northern should be going in and what
targets we could set ourselves, particularly in relation to boosting
participation in Liverpool and Newcastle in the short term. Food for
thought...

Lets have a big push for an epic return to Bradford on the 8th May!

ps, anyone fancying getting involved with planning for MayDay 2011 in
Bradders, there is a meeting at the 1in12 tomorrow night from 6pm. Last
year was brilliant with groups travelling from Sheffield and beyond. This
year we are going to put a stage up on the Hole/Urban garden and there
will be loads of shenanigans beyond. Would be great to have a big Northern
Indymedia presence there as we did last time round!
