Hi

I think our 'position' was established at the last network meeting where
external facilitation helped reach a decision about how to move forward
(ask yourself the question: if the deal is abandoned now, who will
facilitate the mediation process that follows? and how can we trust anyone
to adhere to the outcome if credence is to be given to the "consensus may
have been reached at the meeting but subsequently no longer exists" logic).

Following on, the correspondence that's going on now was signed-off, as
far as possible, at the Liverpool meeting, and on the journey home. Given
that it doesn't deviate from what was agreed in December it didn't require
much discussion, really.

I don't know who our global liason is, or if we have one. Though possibly
fewer voices in this situation may actually be beneficial...

See you Sunday, bring camera and notepad.

Cheers

Ptg
