Hello Friends!

Please join us in a screening of "Oneida Peacekeepers" by Shaun Brode about 
Danielle Schenandoah and the struggle of her People.  She is a seed saver and 
teaches Traditional Indigenous community farming methods, which have always 
been organic and biodiverse.  She is also the founder of  "Ka-nah-hi^Yo: "It's a 
good seed", Indigenous Cultural Knowledge Seed/Plant Preservation Conservancy, 
education and dissemination project.  Danielle will be available for a Q and 
A afterwards, and we will pass the hat for donations for her safe return 
across the border to Kanawake reserve in Canada.

We will also screen "The Leech and the Earthworm" a film by Deborah Harry, 
the leading researcher on genetic engineering, and founder of  "Indigenous 
People's Council on Biocolonialism" www.IPCB.org.  Her film is a must see and a 
true eye-opener for anyone with questions about genetic engineering.   The 
all-original soundtrack and imagery is vibrant.
Both Deborah Harry and Danielle Schenandoah have been presenting at the UN 
this week for the Pemanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.

June 15th is Lobby day in Albany in our campaign to block genetic engineering 
in new york state.  We have several legislators ready to block GE.  Please 
come see these films which truly show how inherent rights are far more important 
than intellectual property rights- patents were meant to cover inventions, 
not living organisms.
